
On 24 November 2025, Team of Kazakhstan–EU Gateway (KEG) took part in the conference and book presentation “The Middle Corridor: Navigating Current Realities and Embracing Future Prospects”, jointly organised by the European Institute for Asian Studies (EIAS) and the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communication (CAERC) of Azerbaijan.

During the event, KEG Team met with Prof. Vusal Gasimli, Executive Director of CAERC and author of the book “The Middle Corridor: Navigating Current Realities and Embracing Future Prospects.” The conversation focused on the development of the Trans-Caspian International Transport Route (TITR) and the growing strategic role of the Middle Corridor in strengthening EU–Central Asia connectivity.

President of KEG V. Bakhretdinov also met with Advisors of the Kazakhstan–EU Gateway, discussing ongoing connectivity initiatives and prospects for enhancing cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Union.
