
A working meeting was held between representatives of the President of Kazakhstan – EU Gateway initiative and the Chief of Staff of the Senate of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Maxim Spotkay.
The discussions focused on strengthening cooperation between Kazakhstan and the European Union in the field of analytics, including evidence-based policymaking, strategic analysis, and the use of analytical tools to support legislative and governance processes.
Particular attention was given to opportunities for institutional collaboration, exchange of expertise, and the integration of European analytical best practices into the work of Kazakhstani public institutions. The importance of data-driven decision-making and analytical support in enhancing the effectiveness and transparency of public administration was emphasized.
Both sides reaffirmed their interest in developing sustainable cooperation aimed at strengthening analytical capacity, fostering dialogue between expert communities, and supporting the modernization of governance frameworks within the broader context of EU–Kazakhstan partnership.
The meeting underscored a shared commitment to deepening bilateral cooperation and advancing practical initiatives in the sphere of analytics and policy expertise.
