The President of Kazakhstan-EU Gateway, Valikhan Bakretdivov, held a meeting with Eduards Stiprais, EU Special Representative for Central Asia, to exchange views on key areas of cooperation between the European Union and Kazakhstan, as well as the broader Central Asian region.

The discussion focused on EU-Kazakhstan and EU-Central Asia cooperation in the field of critical raw materials, the development of the Middle Corridor, and the growing importance of connectivity initiatives linking Europe and Central Asia. Participants also explored opportunities for deeper engagement between policy institutions and think tanks in order to strengthen analytical dialogue and knowledge exchange.
The meeting reflects the continued importance of structured dialogue between policymakers and research platforms in advancing practical cooperation between the European Union, Kazakhstan, and the wider Central Asian region.
