Strengthening Kazakhstan–EU Business Cooperation: Meeting with Atameken Leadership

The President of Kazakhstan – EU Gateway held an extended working meeting with Gulnara Kadyrzhanovna Bizhanova, Deputy Chair of the Management Board of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs of the Republic of Kazakhstan “Atameken”.

The meeting focused on expanding cooperation in the field of business interaction and entrepreneurship between Kazakhstan and the European Union. The parties exchanged views on current economic trends, the role of institutional support in business development, and practical mechanisms for strengthening dialogue between entrepreneurs from Kazakhstan and EU member states.

Special attention was given to the importance of the National Chamber of Entrepreneurs “Atameken” as a key platform representing the interests of the business community, supporting small and medium-sized enterprises, and facilitating constructive engagement between the private sector and public institutions. In this context, opportunities for joint initiatives, business missions, networking events, and information exchange were discussed.

The dialogue also highlighted the need to create favorable conditions for entrepreneurs, reduce barriers to cross-border cooperation, and promote sustainable, innovation-driven growth. Both sides emphasized the significance of building long-term partnerships that encourage investment, support entrepreneurship, and enhance mutual trust between Kazakhstani and European businesses.

The meeting reaffirmed the shared commitment to deepening Kazakhstan–EU economic ties and developing a dynamic, open, and resilient business ecosystem that benefits entrepreneurs on both sides.
